Welcome to The Advertising Federation of Columbus, more familiarly known as AdFed. AdFed is a national organization that brings together advertising and communications professionals for networking, education and fun! Our regular monthly meetings feature top speakers, while educational classes and seminars are offered on an array of subjects ranging from communications "nuts of bolts" to special sessions for non-profit organizations. AdFed members also enjoy special events such as our AdFed Golf Outing, Night at the Races, Fashion Show and Silent Auction and Annual Meeting.
Inspiration
Founded over five decades ago, AdFed inspires and nurtures creativity and excellence in advertising. We are dedicated to maintaining high standards in our profession and encouraging future generations to prosper. During our annual Career Day, we give young people a chance to look over our shoulders and see the advertising business in action. We share our time and talents with good people and good causes. Improving the quality of communication for profit, fun and for the good of our community is one of our main objectives.

Recognition
Hard work deserves recognition. That's why each year AdFed hosts the ADDY Awards, an exciting annual competition for creative excellence featuring over 100 categories. The ADDYs honors the best and brightest work in central Ohio. Winners in the local competition can, and often do, go on to win District and even National ADDYs. At our Annual Meeting luncheon, we recognize a long-time member who has provided leadership, created visionary work or just been an inspiration to others with our most prestigious award, the Silver Medal. We also honor two hardworking students each year with the Marvin Brown Scholarship. Along with all of this we also recognize the best account representives in the industry, The Kress Industry Awards.
